I have just begun a six week knitting class at my LYS. The first session was last Saturday, and I chose a short sleeved sweater (knit T shirt) as my project. The instructor gave a couple of us a simple but pretty pattern stitch to add texture to our projects.
Here's my project so far -- I picked King Tut yarn in a light terra cotta color - I like the sheen, and the stitches show up very clearly.

Just saw your King Tut project although it looks like the post is a year old. I'm working with some King Tut cotton right now and it just doesn't "fit" the pattern. What pattern did you use and were you happy with the results?
