When I checked the mail today, a package was poking out of the stuffed box - my prize from nona's contest! Upon opening the package, I found a copy of Not Just Socks, by Sandi Rosner and a big skein of Lana Grossa varigated sock yarn, in lovely shades of blue. Either one by itself would have been a wonderful prize - this is terrific! I browsed through the book immediately, and already have my eye on the fingerless gloves with ruffled cuffs (click on the link above for a picture). There are lots of great gift ideas for the holidays, too.
