Crocheted Headband from Knitscene; Indulgences
After working on some large, time-consuming projects, I like to switch off to some quick, simple pieces... I used the Lion Wool I dyed with Kool Aid to make the pretty crochet headband from the current issue of Knitscene. It was super quick and easy. Since I used a slightly heavier yarn than called for in the pattern, I dropped down to a size D crochet hook. Not bad, and a cute accent. I bet a beaded one would look fabulous, too!
In my travels before Christmas, I couldn't resist a little self-indulgence... I bought two skeins of Classic Elite Montera and two of Misti Alpaca Baby Alpaca... The colors and softness (especially the baby alpaca!) were just irresistable! :)
