I joined the Knitting Olympics as a member of Team DPN, for anyone who is using dpns for their Olympic project. Our team has lots of great projects going - I am especially awed by the gloves that Michelle is knitting - such intricate color work! I don't know that I'd ever have the patience to try something so complicated.

My sister is also joining in the fun, and is doing a really cute project. It's Pasha, a stuffed toy penguin from the 2004 winter issue of knitty on-line knitting magazine. The current issue has an adorable kitty to make, by the name of Kate. Either one would be a great (and different) baby gift!
