The One Skein exchange is just about over. This is a photo of my last package, which was to include a handmade knit or crochet item with the final skein(s). My pal, Gail, made a lovely handbag in a deep forest green with red stripes, and a pretty plaid cotton lining. Also included were a whole assortment of small items: a pouch for supplies, DPN's size 1, 2 skeins of Stahl sche Wolle sock yarn in a 32% wool/53% cotton/15% polyamid blend, knitting gauge, tape measure, small scissors, and a set of sock-shaped point protectors! It was a wonderful surprise, and the felted bag is really special. What a great Secret Pal! :)
I have my last package ready to mail to my pal, and I'll post about it after she receives it. :)
