I worked on mittens and mitts over the holiday weekend, when I wasn't cooking, cleaning or entertaining. After the last pair (the striped ones) are complete, I'll begin my mom's birthday gift (her birthday is December 11). I am thinking of either a scarf or shawl... I have a few ideas in mind, and will post more about my final choice tomorrow.
My swap pal's package is sealed, addressed and ready to be dropped off at the post office later this afternoon. I found a couple of last-minute items to add in, which I think she'll enjoy. EDIT: I dropped it off at the post office at 5PM - it's on its way to Texas! :)
