Have you ever wanted to knit, but not known what you felt like knitting? It's how I felt over the last several days... I even pulled out different yarns and started knitting randomly, trying to figure out what it was I felt like working on (and then frogged them all when I realized I was going nowhere). I finally started a simple scarf with some luxuriously soft heather gray yarn I picked up at a local yarn store. It was in the clearance bin, and unfortunately the label was long gone. It's soft as alpaca, but I don't know for sure if it's blended with something else... I just know it's wonderful and I love the feel of it on my skin. I wish I had more than just 2 skeins, I'd love to make a sweater!
In the meantime, I am continuing my stash organization. I also just received my order from Knit Picks. The order includes Gossamer ("Carribean" and "Blue Jeans"colors) and Shadow ("Redwood Forest") lace yarns, for me to try my hand at some of the lovely lace scarf and shawl projects I have seen (a new venture for me).

I've been feeling similar to what you've been saying on your blog. I haven't known what to knit the last couple days as well so I too started on a scarf with Freedom spirit. I haven't knitted a scarf in awhile. But there's still something in me that wants to knit something more but I just don't know what it is yet :)
Ooh, I love the pretty yarns you picked out for lace knitting. I can't wait to see which lace project you start first.
Very cooler - the kool aid is fun to play around with, if you can't find any packets let me know and I can send you some. =)
I know what you mean about not always knowing what to knit. Or sometimes I have projects but feel like doing something else...so right now I'm sewing and cross-stitching! The yarn is beautiful--I'll have to make a knitpicks order soon!
