Hot Lazy Days...
School's out, the temp's up, humidity's high... The knitting mojo? A little slow. I have been making a pair of fingerless mitts with leftover sock yarn, and "futzing around" with a couple of UFO's, but haven't had the ambition to start anything big. I did purchase some more yarn (6 skeins of Noro Kureyon) from Little Knits (who I found through their ad in knitty). I also purchased some rattan bag (purse) handles, to possibly use on an existing purse (I don't really like the current ones) and to make the Bramble Tote and/or Knitting Tote from Berocco. (Another stash project.)
Seems all I can muster energy for is mitts or socks, at least for right now. I do have the yarn to make several sweaters (including one for hubby) and an afghan, but big undertakings seem too much to work on right now.
I have continued scanning my magazines. Not only has it cleaned up the bookshelves a bit, but it also allowed me to come across more than a few nice patterns I'd forgotten about, which have now been added to my knitting queue - two reasons to feel good about getting organized!

Great dandelion pic! I am becoming a huge Berrocco fan, but unfortunately my LYS doesn't carry it. Do you have the Norah Gaughan Book 1 for Borrocco? You should check it out on Ravelry--beautiful patterns.
I can only seem to find the energy to knit at night - sitting nearby by our AC unit. It's so hot. I'd rather be sitting underneath a tree, enjoying the breeze.
