Rhinebeck, Part 2

I fell in love with this little fellow at Rhinebeck - a sweet, caramel-colored Alpaca named Koki:

He was actually for sale, and we were told the price was $1,000.

If only I had room for him!

At another booth, there was a basket of alpaca fleece so soft, it was like putting your hand in a cloud:
Soft as a Cloud!

My sister wanted to buy enough to make a mattress from it, LOL!

And of course, there was plenty of yarn everywhere!!

It was so hard not to give in to temptation and buy it all! Many people had large bags full of yarn and wool roving, but I have a rather large stash already, and settled for one lovely skein of incredibly soft Bare Alpaca in a silvery gray color (from Woodstock Knits) and some cute sheep stitch markers.

I am using the Bare Alpaca to make the Boneyard Shawl by Stephen West. (WestKnits)
